All images on the web site can be printed on photographic paper or on metal (MetalPrints™). There are a minimum of eighteen print and print/frame variations for each image, where your selection can be made by scrolling through the print and frame choices. All images are offered in limited editions of 950 prints, all print sizes of each image included in the total. Numerous inquiries have been made as to whether the watermark remains on the print. The watermark is removed for printing, but I do sign and number each image.
Photographic paper print surface choices
If you would like the print to be printed on one of the above photographic papers, other than the automatic Fuji Pearl default selection, just type in the name of the photographic paper you want in the Order Notes box that you will find in the checkout cart. I will see this information and make the change for you.
MetalPrints™ print surface choices
If you prefer either the matte white print surface rather than the gloss white default selection, just type in your preference in the Order Notes box that you will find in the checkout cart. I will see this information and make the change for you.
MetalPrints™ represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing the dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. The images commonly have a luminescent quality. You have probably never seen a more brilliant and impressive print if you are not familiar with a MetalPrints™, where the colors are quite vibrant. Detail and resolution are unsurpassed. MetalPrints™ cost more, but as stated above they are impressive. MetalPrints™ do not need to be covered by glass or plexiglass for protection. MetalPrints™ can be wiped off, and you can even clean them with glass cleaner if needed.
Print dimensions for both photographic paper prints and MetalPrints™
The selection menu for each image will have all available choices. Please contact me if you prefer a larger print than 24x36" for those images taken with the Nikon D810.
Framing is currently not offered for paper prints. I do offer framing for MetalPrints™. The framing is essentially fairly simple, but tasteful. I believe the MetalPrints™ look very good within the frames offered. The styles I am offering are a metal back inset frame (mounted on the back of the image where only the image is seen from the front - you will have the option to order the back inset frame in black or silver), a black wood wedge float frame, and a black wood slim float frame. I have used all of these frames for images I have printed for myself. Here are examples of the three styles showing a corner of each type of frame:
Black or Silver Back Inset Frame (mounted on back of image, where only the image is seen from in front of the image)
For MetalPrints™ that are mounted on a back inset frame, you can request 1/8" rounded corners rather than the default sharp corners as seen in the image above. If you would like rounded corners put your request in the Order Notes box in the cart section of your purchase.
